Golf Fitness:

Unfortunately injuries happen with golf. At times we develop physical limitations that don’t allow us to move the way we want. Physical limitations, weakness and muscle tightness may affect the golf swing and lead to injury. Through the TPI golf assessment we can look at movement patterns and determine physical limitations that may be affecting your golf swing leading to pain and subsequent injury. Development of a treatment plan to address those limitations, rehabilitate the injury and focus on improving movement patterns will improve function and help you to play your best golf game!!

MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT:

Our bodies are made up of alternating segments of mobility and stability. Mobility is the combination of normal joint range of motion and proper muscular flexibility. Stability is the ability of our bodies to remain unchanged or aligned in the presence of change or outside force, and includes balance, strength and muscular endurance. In order to prevent injury we all need to move in an alternating pattern of stable and mobile joints. A proper movement assessment can identify imbalance between these mobile and stable joints. Through a Functional Movement Assessment and the right treatment plan you will improve balance, strength and muscular endurance to prevent compensatory movement patterns, pain and injury.
